Verse of the Day 7/25
Ezra 7:10(AMP) For Ezra had prepared and set his heart to seek the Law of the Lord [to inquire for it and of it, to require and yearn for it], and to do and teach in Israel its statutes and its ordinances.
Notice the verbs, the action words in this verse. Seek, do, and teach.
Prayer, which we've been considering for the past few days, is an important part, at the foundation of the process. But that kind of prayer will lead to what we see in today's verse.
John MacArthur writes, " He studied before he attempted to live a life of obedience, and he studied and practiced the law in his own life before he opened his mouth to teach that law. But the success of Ezra's leadership did not come from his strength alone, but most significantly because "the good hand of his God [was] upon him" (7:9)."
Do you feel the need to seek, do and teach in your life or perhaps renew the process. If so, it is because the good hand of the Lord may be upon you.
Seek the Lord in prayers and His word, do what He says, and teach it as you live it out in your life.
In Christ,
Mike

Ezra 7:9-11Amplified Bible (AMP)
9 On the first of the first month he started out from Babylon, and on the first of the fifth month he arrived in Jerusalem, for upon him was the good hand of his God.
10 For Ezra had prepared and set his heart to seek the Law of the Lord [to inquire for it and of it, to require and yearn for it], and to do and teach in Israel its statutes and its ordinances.
11 Now this is the copy of the letter that King Artaxerxes gave to Ezra the priest, the scribe, even a scribe [occupied with] the words of the commands of the Lord and of His statutes to Israel:
