Hebrews 10:24-25 We should keep on encouraging each other to be thoughtful and to do helpful things. 25 Some people have gotten out of the habit of meeting for worship, but we must not do that. We should keep on encouraging each other, especially since you know that the day of the Lord's coming is getting closer. Contemporary English Version (CEV)
The current situation surrounding the COVID virus with social distancing and restrictions on public gatherings has brought a new perspective on these verses. On the one hand, many people are doing helpful and thoughtful things for some of those who are in the "high risk" categories, on the other hand most of us have had to give up meeting together for worship at church and even our Bible studies in our homes and elsewhere.
Thankfully, in this modern age we do have things like Facetime and Zoom or Teams that we can visit with others face to face on our phones and tablets. We can also send text messages, emails and share Facebook posts or Instragram to let people know what is going on or that we're thinking of them. Still it is not the same as meeting face to face.
One thing for sure, we all look forward to the time when we can meet with our friends and church family to worship. Kind of reminds me of the old hymn, "When We All Get to Heaven". Let's go ahead and sing and shout today as we look forward to the time we can meet again, and in the future to rejoice in eternity.

24 Let us also consider carefully how to spur each other on to love and good works. 25 Let us not neglect meeting together, as some have the habit of doing. Rather, let us encourage each other, and all the more as you see the Day[a] approaching.
